PR – Den Frie
In the beginning of summer 2015, my good old favourite client Den Frie, invited me to do some PR work for their up coming summer exhibition. The show titled “PSYCHOSOMATIC – Does it hurt when you laugh?” features the fantastic work of Danish artist Peter Land. This exhibition is the largest show to date showing his wonderful, dark and humorous sculpture installations. You can see some of his work through the images I shot but in fairness it can’t beat going down there and seeing it in 3D…
Stocksy – Cherry blossom
At the end of April 2015, when the Danish spring was at its best I came across a little Copenhagen hidden treasure. Bispebjerg Cemetery, located deep into the Nord Vest neighberhood is a large park containing an unbelievable amount of flower trees and a big collection of unusual plants. Among them is a long double row of beautiful cherry trees that for a short period in April explodes with the unique lush cherry blossom. Naturally as a photographer i though this will make for an incredible location for a photoshoot. I took my friend / model Tracie Joy and we went there on a beautiful day to see what we can come up with. The result was a lively spring fashion shoot that can now be licensed exclusively at Stocksy United. If you wish to see the full series click here…
Restaurent – Nimb
In March 2015 I was commisioned by Nimb in Copenhagen to do some PR work for their new upcoming restaurant Fru Nimb. The idea for the restaurant is to reinvent the Danish smørrebrød which is the classic open faced rye bread sandwich. It is looking very promising.
Festival – Vanguard
In August 2014 I was commissioned to photograph the 2nd Vanguard Festival in Copenhagen. My assignment of capturing Vanguard’s unique crowd and atmosphere turned out to be a delight as the sun was shinning and there was a great turnout of 10,000 people in the two days of the festival. Although Babyshambles cancelled in the last minute because Pete Doherty missed his flights the people got to see a great lineup with names such as George Clinton, Red Man & Method Man, The Roots and Mos Def. The Festival is slowly becoming one of Copenhagen’s best events with a strong emphasis on hiphop.
Stocksy – Halloween
With Halloween 2014 coming up quick at the end of October I decided to do something for Stocksy. Since Halloween images are high in demand now it made good sense to give it a go although its never been a holiday I celebrated. There are a lot of images exploring the classic symbols of Halloween like pumpkin carving, kids dressing up and trick or treating but I decided to try a different angle, one that could bring a little entertainment to adults. Naturally executing some innocent unsuspecting pumpkins was the next step. Here are a few examples and if you want to see the whole thing its exclusively licensed by Stocksy here. Many thanks to Lone Eriksen and Thorbjorn Villisen for helping me with this shoot

This new catalogue showcases work by 325 individuals – established names, such as Chris Harrison, Nadege Meriau, Simon Norfolk, Michael Ormerod, and Edgar Martins, appear alongside many rising young stars. Though their practices are diverse, these photographers share an unparalleled commitment to their medium. This year’s catalogue is designed by Chris Thomson of StudioThomson featuring a striking design.
