Restaurent - Luca e Lino

Every winter before Christmas, I try to escape the harsh Scandinavian winter and go to a place that represents the exact opposite - The Middle East. On at least two levels, the weather and the food it is a completely different experience really worth enjoying during the winter when it is not to hot. This time I spent 7 weeks in Israel working, eating and chilling to various degrees. Once again I had the pleasure to work with the good people at Blender, an online marketing and PR agency specialising in the culinary world. This time we collaborated on creating content advertising a Sicilian brunch and a couple of flagship dishes for the beautiful and incredibly tasty restaurant located in Tel Aviv - Luca e Lino. This family business moved from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv and is part of a growing, bubbly local culinary scene with influences from all over the world. Luca e Lino have in their modern Sicilian menu a few unique dishes like the ones you can see in the pictures bellow: Deep fried blue crab and whole melted Camembert with garlic confit and dates honey.
